The combined Category 1 and 2 sticking again produces interesting groupings, now in 12/8 — try to hear the underlying rhythmic sequence as you work through them. Stay aware of proper limb motion via the accent direction, keep the flams even in sound and spacing, and voice the flam’s principal note on the kit when ready, with the bass drum supporting cymbal voicing.
