Supplement 43C: The Triple Ratamacue Rudiment | Part 3 of 3

This rudiment uses three drags followed by a triplet rhythm, with the same three drag interpretations available — tight and closed, in time as 32nd notes, or loose and broad. Although the drag is notated as a diddle, you can interpret it using any of those approaches; whichever you choose, stay consistent with it. Watch the accent placement carefully across the examples, and practice on the snare drum, working for a good, even feel and sound.
