Supplement 18E: Swiss Army Triplet | Part 2 of 3

The Swiss army triplet flam (sometimes called the Swiss triplet flam) is a useful alternate to the flam accent rudiment and works especially well on the drum set. The sticking is actually a bit easier, since a diddle stroke covers the first two notes, followed by a single note in the opposite hand; once the flam grace note is added, each hand performs an overlapping 2-stroke motion. Work on leading with both the right and left hand, and experiment with how you voice it around the drum set (Supplement 18E).
