These phrases keep developing the flam while applying it to sticking you already know. Keep the grace note and unaccented notes close to the head, and remember that two or more same-hand accents in a row call for a wrist motion. Once comfortable, voice the flam’s principal note on the toms, supporting any cymbal voicing with the bass drum.
