Mike Packer
Mike Packer, author of The Drum Channel Method, is a distinguished educator and performer with over 30 years of experience. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Percussion Performance from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master’s in Education, Leadership, and Policy from Boston University. Throughout his career, Mike has held prominent academic leadership positions, including Dean of Online Programs & International Initiatives at the Musician’s Institute and Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs at the Los Angeles College of Music. As a performer, Mike has worked with notable artists such as Free Flight, Lorna Luft, Wilson Phillips, Diane Reeves, and The Los Angeles Philharmonic.
