Supplement 60C: Etude #2 Using Mixed Artificial And Normal Note Values | Part 3 of 3

This etude is more legit — orchestral — in character, played on snare drum only, with the sticking, accents and dynamics fully written in and meant to be followed exactly. Some accents land on interior notes of an artificial grouping rather than the downbeat, so work through it one line at a time until the rhythm, sticking and accent placement are all solid before putting it together. A good finished tempo sits between 74 and 80 bpm — the goal is a musical performance, not just a correct one.
