Supplement 37B & 37C: Hand-to-Hand and Category 5 Sticking in 12/8 with Ostinatos | Part 2 of 3
Category 5 sticking — five single strokes followed by any number of doubles or diddles — now moves into 12/8, with the same 7/9/11-note grouping pattern. Once both sticking types feel controlled on the snare, voice the accents on the toms and cymbals with bass drum support, and add an ostinato of your choosing to build hand/foot independence — pick whichever feels most manageable to control.
