Supplement 33D: 2-Bar Flam Application to Hand-to-Hand and Category 3 Sticking Phrases | Part 2 of 4

These phrases keep developing the flam rudiment while applying it to sticking you already know, now as 2-bar phrases. Keep the grace note and unaccented notes low and close to the head, remembering that same-hand accents in succession call for a wrist motion. Voice the flam’s principal note on the toms when comfortable, and support any cymbal voicing with the bass drum — staying relaxed as you move around the kit.
