This variation drops to a 2-note figure between the hands and the bass drum, which now sits in the second position, sequencing from quarter notes to 32nds and back. Try alternating with one hand and the bass drum, then both hands, then randomize the sticking based on how you want to voice it — each approach changes the character of the pattern.
