Supplement 42C: The Double Ratamacue Rudiment | Part 3 of 3

This rudiment uses two drags followed by a triplet rhythm. The drags can be played tight and closed, in time as 32nd notes, or loosely, almost like a broad 16th-note triplet. The accent placement shifts across the different examples, so pay attention to where it falls in each one — drags should stay tighter than the diddles, which read as 32nd notes. The snare drum is the instrument to practice these on.
