This etude revisits the single ratamacue alongside other rudiments you’ve already learned, treated as a genuine piece of music rather than a dry exercise. Follow the sticking and dynamics carefully, and work up to performing it rather than just running through it mechanically. A tempo around 70 bpm is a reasonable target once you’re ready to play it musically.
