In this course we take a look at some essential styles that are commonly played, and some ways to master the idiosyncrasies of each one. Part 1 covers essential rock grooves and fills. These are meant to be learned by spending considerable time on each groove and style, so make sure to take it slow and methodically.
Adam Kuns
Adam Kuns has been a professional educator and performer for over 20 years. He holds a Jazz Studies degree from California State University, Northridge where he performed with the Jazz A Band. He has studied with greats such as Gregg Bissonette, Alex Acuña, and Chad Wackerman. In addition to his drum set experience, he has taught and arranged with many DCI, WGI and high school marching programs. He has been a staff instructor for Drum Channel since 2013.
