Drumline Essentials: Cadences

This course contains playalongs for you to test your skills at with each drum. You can follow along with the Royal High School Drumline as they play through each excerpt and have a lot of fun at the same time! As you play these cadences, focus on improving one part of your technique or performance every time. You can focus on your rolls, wrist technique, accent heights and everything else.

Adam Kuns

Adam Kuns has been a professional educator and performer for 20 years. He holds a Jazz Studies degree from California State University, Northridge and has studied with Gregg Bissonette, Alex Acuña, Chad Wackerman, Dick Weller, and Dave Elitch. In addition to his drum set experience, he has taught and arranged with many DCI, WGI and high school marching programs such as Dark Sky Percussion, Watchmen, Catalyst Percussion, Velvet Knights, and Royal High School. He has been a staff instructor for Drum Channel since 2013.
