This variation places the first and second notes of the group in the bass drum, moving through the same quarter-note-to-32nd-note sequence. Expect the foot motion to shift between leg strokes and ankle-down strokes depending on tempo and note value — stay aware of that transition. Sticking remains optional, and you’re always free to voice any of the hand notes on the kit.
