Level 100 – Get Started, Learn the Fundamentals

Mike Packer earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Percussion Performance from the University of Northern Colorado and his Master’s in Education, Leadership, and Policy from Boston University. Mike has performed with Free Flight, Wilson Phillips, Diane Reeves, The Los Angeles Philharmonic and more. Studio credits include Grounded for Life, Mad TV, The People’s Choice Awards, and multiple Cable Ace Awards. Mike’s teaching experience consists of being a staff instructor at Musician’s Institute and Los Angeles College of Music. He’s also an accomplished author and has been a private instructor for 30 years. Mike is the former Vice President of Education at 1500 Sound Academy.
