After joining the legendary Don Ellis Big Band and working with Frank Zappa, Ralph Humphrey has become one of the most in-demand drummers and teachers in the Los Angeles area. He and Joe Porcaro founded the drum department at Musicians Institute and later established the program at Los Angeles College of Music.
