There’s an old joke about a visitor to New York City asking a local how to get to Carnegie Hall. The answer, of course, is “Practice.” But what amount is the right amount to practice? Serious drummers can practice several hours a day while recreational players may only be able to get on their kits a few hours a week. World-famous drummer Buddy Rich was once quoted as saying he never practiced, he just played. In the end, the right amount of practice really depends on each player’s goals and situation. Not to worry because, at Drum Channel, we have 1000’s of hours of lessons, courses and masterclasses from the best drummers in the world. So, whether you’re ready to head to the shed, or Carnegie Hall, we’re ready to give directions.
