Biography
Chris “X” Arredondo was friend to brothers Joey and Jason LaRocca before he was ever officially associated with The Briggs (then called I Decline). He started as their merchandising guy, but soon he replaced Joey behind the drum kit. Looking back now, it is difficult to imagine The Briggs without Joey jumping around his microphone stand. Chris stepping in as drummer allowed Joey to become the charismatic frontman that The Briggs needed him to be.
Just having completed their fourth studio album in 2008 (“Come All You Madmen”), The Briggs are viewed as one of the few remaining "true punk" acts in the business. This is due in no small part to their powerfully raucous lyrics and music, expertly backed by Chris’s relentlessly infectious drumming. In addition to their own touring schedules, they have played the grueling gauntlet known as The Vans Warped Tour four times and have gained a reputation as one of the hardest working bands around. And fans are grateful that they are.
