Join Chad live as we film the next series of The Chad Smith Show, featuring Kenny Aronoff and the Bombastic Meatbats. Kenny and Chad have both performed and toured with the band. It will make a great jam session and double-drumming event.
For sure, we're scheduling the live stream event at 6 pm along with Chat. However, unlike the format of our usual live events we may start streaming earlier than 6 pm if Chad & Kenny are ready. They both have tight schedules and we want to get as much of their time as possible. We will be editing this live show into our next weekly "Chad Smith Show" episodes. Join the fun, starts and stops...whatever it takes! It will be a wild time.
Kenny Aronoff is one of the world's most influential and in-demand drummers. The list of artists he's worked with reads like a who's who of the music industry, and includes John Mellencamp, The Smashing Pumpkins, Bob Seger, Melissa Etheridge, Jon Bon Jovi, Elton John, Bob Dylan, Rod Stewart, Alanis Morissette, The Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynrd, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Avril Lavigne, Joe Cocker, Mick Jagger, Alice Cooper, Meat Loaf, Bonnie Raitt, Ricky Martin, Santana, Trey Anastasio, Michelle Branch, and many others. With a style of playing that combines power and finesse, Kenny was named the #1 Pop/Rock Drummer and the #1 Studio Drummer for five consecutive years by the readers of Modern Drummer Magazine, and in addition has played on over 30 Grammy-nominated recordings. Kenny is currently doing a U.S. tour with John Fogerty, playing with the Meatbats in Japan, and is squeezing in time to do drum clinics and also work as a guest instructor for the Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camps.
