On January 16, 2009 Sabian hosted the Sabian LIVE Concert featuring Richie Garcia with Oscar Cartaya's Enclave, Jojo Mayer with Nerve and Jimmy Degrasso with F5. Drum Channel streamed the show live and gave their viewers exclusive access to backstage interviews with countless acclaimed drummers and musicians.
Part four of the Sabian LIVE Backstage Interviews features Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater and Styx drummer Todd Sucherman. Mike talks about the different bands and drummers that impact his playing, Dream Theater and how it all began as well as different gear that he uses for his shows. Toward the end we are graced with Todd who talks about his new instructional DVD, his favorite Styx songs, wand what it takes to be a professional drummer.
