On January 16, 2009 Sabian hosted the Sabian LIVE Concert featuring Richie Garcia with Oscar Cartaya's Enclave, Jojo Mayer with Nerve and Jimmy Degrasso with F5. Drum Channel streamed the show live and gave their viewers exclusive access to backstage interviews with countless acclaimed drummers and musicians.

In the third installment of the Sabian LIVE Backstage Interviews Korn drummer Ray Luzier and Gil Sharone of Dillinger Escape Plan are interviewed by hosts Dom Famularo and Johnny "Vatos" Hernandez. Among the many jokes thrown between him and Don, Ray talks about his influences, touring with Korn, and important things to remember when you're learning. Gil Sharone comes later and talks about his bands Dillinger Escape Plan and Stolen Babies, his favorite drummers, the importance of music history and finally, playing for the love of what you do.
