Biography

Lou "Dog" Gaez grew up in Orange County immersed in the Southern Califonia punk scene. As the drummer for Kottonmouth Kings since 1994, Lou Gaez plays hip hop music with a punk rock feel.

Capitalizing on his drum knowledge, Lou Gaez created of a low rider drum-tricycle called the 'Lourider.' While riding his bike and tapping the rhythm of a Bob Marley song on his handlebars in 1997, Lou envisioned the drum-trike. He built the prototype on the frame of a 1964 Schwinn tricycle. Lou Gaez also designed custom bikes called Chronic Green Machine, Japanasian, High Off The Glass hookah trike, and the Two For One Special with two drum kits mounted to one trike frame. Tommy Lee, Limp Bizkit, and Stone Temple Pilots all expressed interest in the custom Louriders.
