Zigaboo Modeliste In The Spotlight - Part 1
Video Player Patent Pending Honoring Zigaboo Modeliste is an All-Star panel comprised of his good friends James Gadson, Jim Keltner and Jonathon Moffett. Hosted by Don Lombardi, this series of interviews will give you a glimpse into the life and legend of Zigaboo Modeliste. This spotlight series was filmed during the taping of his debut DVD, where he takes you through a note by note cultural journey of the history of New Orleans drumming. In his DVD you will learn how and why he plays his unique rhythms and complete translations and slow motion footage will allow you to easily add them to your drumming vocabulary. If you are not aware of Zigaboo Modeliste, this spotlight series will introduce him and his genius to you. In part one, they all discuss how they met and Jim Keltner and Jonathan Moffett reflect on what a life changing experience it was the first time they heard Zigaboo play. |
