CHAD WACKERMAN - From Zappa to James Taylor to Barbra Streisand

CHAD WACKERMAN

Chad was born March 25th, 1960 in Long Beach, California. He is a member of a very musical family with a father and two brothers who play drums and are multi-instrumentalists.

Chad is an extremely skilled jazz and rock drummer. He worked for seven years with Frank Zappa, with whom he toured with and recorded 26 albums. He has also recorded 6 albums and toured with guitar legend Allan Holdsworth. Some popular names that he has worked with are Barbra Streisand, Steve Vai, Andy Summers, and Dweezil Zappa. Chad has also toured with James Taylor, The World Drummers Ensemble and most recently toured with ex Zappa drummer Terry Bozzio. Chad has written music for the T.V. show “The Dennis Miller Show” as well as others.
